A tactical 75-A dc power supply from API Technologies offers soldiers power and portability to meet mission requirements without having to rely on tactical vehicle-based power. The TPS75 supports RF and mobile networks, C4ISR applications, and unmanned systems. The commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) supply accepts power from single- or three-phase generators, or shore/community power, and converts ac to 28 V dc at 75 A. It can withstand temperatures from −40 to 60°C, and extreme environmental conditions such as shock, vibration, sand, dust, and heavy precipitation. Features include an integrated battery charger and remote monitoring. A 150-A model also is available. Applications range from SATCOM trailers, towed generators, and mobile radars, to simulation and training shelters as well as UAV ground stations.
