Compact Energy-Efficient 20W Interchangeable Plug Adapter Series
Phihong has developed a compact, energy-efficient 20W interchangeable plug adapter series. The PSAA20R adapter series, available in single 12-, 24-, and 48V outputs, features interchangeable AC input clips, sold separately, which enable widespread compatibility, as well as allow for the use of a single part number, simplifying OEMs' inventory and approval processes. Ideal for peripherals, network equipment, gaming machines, and point of sale equipment, the series is also ENERGY STAR® Level V, EPS Version 2.0-compliant.
Designed for maximum efficiency as well as compatibility, PSAA20R Series adapters feature a maximum no-load power draw of 0.3W and an average operating efficiency of greater than 81%.
PSAA20R adapters are also Class II double-insulated, meet Class B EMI standards, and feature over-current, over-voltage, and short-circuit protection. Additionally, the 20W adapters bear cUL/UL, CE, SAA, and C-Tick safety markings and approvals. The series is rated for operation from 0°C to +40°C.
Compact in size, PSAA20R Series adapters measure 2.82 x 1.97 x 1.31-in. and weigh 6 ounces. They terminate with a 2.1mm x 5.5mm barrel output connector at the end of a 1.5-meter dc cord.
