Available immediately from MicroPower Direct, the C4000RW series is a family of 40W DC/DC converters packaged in a compact, 2" x 2" case. High performance features include a wide 2:1 input range; single, dual & triple outputs; high efficiency and wide temperature operation.
Twenty seven models operate from wide 2:1 inputs of 9 to 18, 18 to 36 or 36 to 75 VDC; providing outputs of 5, 12, 15, 24 ±5, ±12,±15, 5/±12 or 5/±15 VDC. Standard features include efficiency to 87%; tight line/load regulation; an input/output isolation of 1,600 VDC; and an output trim capability. All models have output power protection; output over voltage protection and continuous short circuit protection (with autorecovery). Also standard is a remote On/Off control input. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the C4000RW series is greater than 550 khours.
The C4000RW family is packaged in an compact 2.0 x 2.0 x 0.45 inch metal case. The pin-out is industry standard. Each model is specified for operation over the wide temperature range of -25°C to +70°C ambient. Cooling is by free-air convection.
The C4000RW series is intended for a variety of board level applications requiring compact size, high output power, and robust performance. Suitable applications would include telecomm/datacomm systems; industrial process equipment; automated test & measurement instrumentation; and board level power distribution subsystems.
