18 and 40 W Desktops for Level V Adapter Line

    Aug. 11, 2010
CUI Inc's power line, V-Infinity, announces a further expansion to its line-up of high efficiency external power adapters.

CUI Inc's power line, V-Infinity, announces a further expansion to its line-up of high efficiency external power adapters. CUI's latest release includes 18 W and 40 W desktop adapters. Both meet Level V efficiency standards and exceed the current US EIS A 2007 efficiency regulations. Offered in a wide range of output voltages, these high-efficiency adapters are a continuation of the company's strategy to offer a full line-up of Level V products.

The new ETSA desktop adapter series provides more power in a reduced form factor. The 40 W ETSA series is 50% smaller than the Level IV series it replaces. These compact power supplies include UL and GS safety approvals.

CUI now offers a wide array of Level V wall plug and desktop power adapters that exceed current mandated government regulations," stated Kraig Kawada, CUI's V-Infinity Product Manager. The ETSA series is available through Digi-Key with prices starting at $22.13 per unit.
