Available now from MicroPower Direct, the E200E series provides 2W of reliable output power in an ultra-miniature SIP package. Part of our "Cost Cutter" product line, these units are specifically designed to provide a reliable voltage conversion and/or power line isolation for space critical board level applications at very low cost. Six models operate from 5 VDC and 12 VDC inputs, providing single outputs of 5, 12, or 15 VDC. Standard features include efficiency as high as 82%, an input/output isolation of 1,000 VDC, and low noise operation. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the E200E series is greater than 3.5 Mhours.
The E200E family is packaged in an ultra-miniature, 4-pin SIP case that requires only 0.136 square inches of board space. The pin-out is industry standard and all case materials meet UL94-V0 requirements. All models are specified for operation over the wide operating industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with no derating or heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.
