Wide Input, 40W DC/DC Converters
MicroPower Direct now offers the F3000ERU series, a family of high performance 30W DC/DC converters. They offer a unique combination of compact size, robust performance and high power density, robust performance and economy. As part of MPD's *Cost Cutter* series of products, they are offered at very low prices. Twelve standard models operate from wide 4:1 inputs of 9 to 36 VDC or 18 to 75 VDC; providing single and dual outputs of 5, 12, 15, ±5, ±12 or ±15 VDC. Standard features include line/load regulation less than 1.0%, input/output isolation of 1,500 VDC, continuous short circuit protection, a remote control input and high efficiency to 90%. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 1 Mhours.
The F3000ERU family is packaged in a compact 2 x 1.6 x 0.465 inch case. The pin-out is industry standard. Each model is specified for operation over the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. An optional heatsink is available.
The F3000ERU series is a good choice for a wide variety of board level power applications requiring high output power, input/output isolation, and compact package size.
