DC/DC COTS Supply Powers Mobile, RF Networks

The TPS75 from APS Technologies is a tactical, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), 75 A DC power supply specifically designed to power RF and mobile networks, C4ISR applications, and unmanned systems. Suited for both ground and vehicular use, featured applications include SATCOM trailers, towed generators, mobile radars, simulation and training shelters, and UAV ground stations. The TPS75 can accept power from Single or Three Phase generators or shore/community power and converts AC to 28 Volts of DC power at 75 A. The unit features an integrated battery charger, remote monitoring, and weatherproof construction. The TPS75 can withstand extreme temperatures from -40 °C to 60 °C and extreme environments including shock, vibration, sand, dust, and heavy precipitation. A 150 Amp model is also available.
