Fairchild Semiconductor’s portfolio of AEC-Q101-qualified 30-V and 40-V MOSFETs includes 11 low-voltage PowerTrench MOSFETs designed for automotive applications. The devices are suited for providing the higher current density and lower power dissipation required by systems as they evolve from being mechanical to electromechanical.

With RDS(ON) characteristics as low as 2.0 mΩ, these devices are UIS rated and meet the rigorous AEC-Q101 automotive standard for ensuring "ruggedness" by providing a high level of reliability in harsh electrical environments.

Fairchild's MOSFETs for automotive applications are certified to meet the ISO/TS 16949 standard. Available now, these products are lead (Pb)-free and meet or exceed the requirements of the joint IPC/JEDEC standard J-STD-020C and are compliant with the European Union requirements now in effect. In quantities of 1000, unit pricing ranges from $0.65 to $2.26.
