Avago Technologies' dual- and quad-channel phototransistors are well suited for industrial applications such as switch-mode power supplies for servers and telecom equipment. The ACPL-824 and ACPL-827 are 2-channel, full-pitch ac- and dc-input phototransistors in 8-pin DIPs. The ACPL-844 and ACPL -847 are 4-channel, full-pitch ac- and dc-input phototransistors in 16-pin DIPs.

Designed with an input-output isolation of 5000 Vrms, these phototransistors are available in several options, including wide-lead spacing, lead bend (for surface mounting) and lead free (for RoHS compliance). This multi-channel phototransistor line meets safety and regulatory compliance approvals for CSA, UL 1577 and IEC 60747-5-2. In quantities of 100,000, unit pricing ranges from $0.23 to $0.62 for these models.
