Torex Semiconductor Ltd. released the XC6129 series of voltage detectors with high accuracy, low supply current, and a delay function. These voltage detectors are ideal for wearable devices and small portable devices.
The XC6129 series are voltage detectors with an accuracy of ±0.8% (Ta = 25°C), a supply current of 0.42 µA (VDF = 2.7 V at detection), and a delay function. Because these detectors realize both high accuracy and a low supply current, and also use the ultra-small USPN-4 package (0.9 x 1.2 x h0.4 mm), they are ideal for small applications that require space saving on the board. In addition, the output logic at the time of detection can be selected, which makes these detectors ideal for all electronic devices that use a micro controller.
A detection delay function, not supported in previous Torex voltage detectors, has been newly added. The detection delay function enables the prevention of false detection due to momentary drops of VIN. The release delay time / detection delay time of the delay function can be set with the capacitor connected to the Cd pin. The Cd pin can also be used as a manual reset pin. The detection voltage range is 1.5 V to 5.5 V (settable in steps of 0.1 V), the operating voltage range is 1.3 V to 6.0 V, and the detection voltage temperature characteristic is ±50 ppm/°C (TYP.). There are two output types, CMOS output and Nch open drain output. The B/D/F types of CMOS output have an unspecified operation prevention function that limits the output pin voltage to 0.4 V (MAX.) or less when unspecified operation occurs because the power input pin voltage is under the minimum operating voltage. In addition to the ultra-small USPN-4 package, the standard type SSOT-24 is also available, and either package can be selected to suit the application. This series is an environment-friendly product that complies with the EU RoHS Directive and is Pb-free.
