Dionics-USA announces a new class of high current photovoltaic isolators.

Dionics-USA announces a new class of high current photovoltaic isolators. The 8A100-1 and 8A100-2 family of devices are dual high-current PVI milliwatt power sources. These devices achieve the highest output current of any PV isolator on the market today while providing a logic-level compatible output voltage. Isolated outputs currents in excess of 1mA and output power levels of 3mW are possible.

These devices provide high quality isolation with a 2.5kV isolation test voltage, an ultra-low coupling capacitance, and a high continuous working isolation voltage. The 8-pin surface mount gull-wing or through-hole package is also smaller and less costly than any other competing isolated power source. When coupled with micropower digital data converters and digital isolators an endless number of isolated applications become possible - including industrial inverter designs, medical applications, metering, isolated sensors, gate drive applications, and battery management monitoring to name just a few.

  • Precise, easily selectable values, from 1pF to 63pF adjustable in 1pF increments
  • Tight tolerances (5% or 10%)
  • Operating Voltage 75VDC
  • Excellent high frequency performance
  • Extremely stable and reliable MOS construction
  • Small 8-pin SOIC package
  • Other capacitance values and  packages available
  • Low Cost
