Available under the new TDK-Lambda product brand, the CC-E series of low-cost, compact dc-dc converters comprises 68 models with power ratings of 1.5 W, 3 W, 6 W, 10 W, 15 W and 25 W. Models with a power rating of 10 W or less can be supplied with a choice of 5-V, 12-V, 24-V and 48-V nominal input. These same models offer output voltages of 3.3 V, 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, ±12 V and ±15 V.

The 15-W and 25-W models are available with a 24-V input and with output voltages of 3.3 V and 5 V. The dual-output units can be configured as 24-V or 30-V single outputs.

The series is available in six package sizes, ranging from 0.65 in. x 0.654 in. x 0.335 in. (1.5-W models) to 1.7 in. x 1.77 in. x 0.295 in. (25-W). A choice of through-hole or surface-mount placement is available.

No potting is used in manufacturing the converters, which lowers the weight of the 1.5-W models to just 3.2 grams. A metal case provides shielding to reduce radiated EMI and enables easy vacuum pickup during automated machine placement.

CC-E series units have an input-to-output isolation of 500 Vac. A remote on-off and output trim feature is available on all models. All converters conform to UL60950-1, CSA 60950-1 and EN60950-1 standards. Available now, members of the CC-E series are priced starting at $7.10 each in 1000-unit quantities.
