The Schaffner Group has acquired JACKE Transformatoren, a German company that develops power quality technologies. The acquisition expands Schaffner’s technological base to offer solutions combining EMC, power quality and energy supply.
Products offered by JACKE include rail vehicles, alternative energy, ship-building, telecommunications, and transformer engineering. Schaffner Jacke will continue its engineering and production operations in Büren, Germany under its current management team.
