FDK’s first regulated products in its Sensei Series of isolated dc-dc converters are the FPQR48T01215 and FPQR48T1214. These converters are designed for Intermediate Bus Architecture (IBA) and Distributed Power Architecture (DPA) in telecommunications for applications that require a regulated 12-V distribution bus. Provided in the industry-standard quarter-brick format, the converters deliver up to 180 W of output power with minimal de-rating at elevated temperatures.

The FPQR48T01215 and FPQR48T1214 converters operate from 36-Vdc to 75-Vdc and 36-Vdc to 65-Vdc inputs, respectively, and provide a tightly regulated 12-Vdc output. The converters respectively provide 15 A and 14 A, with efficiencies in excess of 91%. In quantities of 1000 pieces, the FPQR48T01215 and FPQR48T1214 converters are priced at $47. Samples are available now.
