National Semiconductor Corporation will participate in Silicon Valley Power’s (SVP) clean renewable energy program, Santa Clara Green Power. National Semiconductor will purchase one half of the output of one large-scale wind turbine on an annual basis for its Santa Clara campus. Derived from clean wind and solar generation sources, National Semiconductor’s renewable power commitment procures 1608 MWh annually.

SVP will purchase renewable energy credits on behalf of National Semiconductor from newly constructed wind farms and solar photovoltaic projects located within California. A portion of National’s Santa Clara Green Power rate will support solar facilities in the City of Santa Clara.
