Available immediately from MicroPower Direct, the MDR-24 series is a very compact family of 24W, DIN rail mountable AC/DC power supplies. An ideal choice for a wide variety of industrial applications, the MDR-24 provides a very narrow form factor, easy DIN rail mounting capability, robust performance, long field reliability and low cost. Standard high performance features include a universal input range, efficiency to 87%, low noise and tight line/load regulation.
Three models operate from a universal 85 VAC to 264 VAC input, providing tightly regulated outputs of 5, 12, or 24 VDC. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 3,000 VAC, low output noise, line/load regulation of ±1% and efficiency as high as 87%. All models have continuous short circuit protection (with auto recovery), output overvoltage protection and output power limiting. The series is fully approved to EN 60950 and meets the requirements of EN 55022 Class B & EN 61000-4 3. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MDR-24 series is 200 khours.
The MDR-24 family is packaged in a space saving 0.886 inch wide DIN rail mount case. The front panel includes an output power good indicator (green LED) and output voltage adjust (±10%). All models are specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
