Staco Energy Products introduces the new lower kVAR cost efficient line for StacoVAR® mini - a wall mountable automatic power factor correction bank which utilizes the same components as the current StacoVAR® mini by maintaining the desired power factor level utilizing the microprocessor based controller to adjust to system load conditions. Rugged metalized poly-propylene dry type capacitors are efficiently placed in a smaller compact enclosure. Capacitor-rated contactors with damping resistors reduce back-to-back switching currents. The new StacoVAR® mini accurately regulates power factor automatically, making it ideal for lower kVAR ratings in small industrial and commercial environments where there are power factor penalties.
This compact high quality design includes capacitors, reactors, contactors and fuses - and is UL Listed. Capacitors provide highly efficient power factor correction, low watt loss, long life and reliable operation. The robust heavy duty design includes environmentally friendly, self-healing metalized polypropylene film dry type capacitors. Each UL recognized capacitor is contained in an aluminum cylindrical housing and incorporates an over-pressure device and discharge resistor safety system. Capacitors include a 5-year warranty.
