PowerGate specializes in standard AC/DC power supplies and DC/DC converters (from 1-3,000 watts), whereas Versatile Power specializes in the design of custom power subsystems for OEM applications. Versatile Power also brings a team of electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to the table, as well as a facility that is ISO 9001-2008 and ISO 13485-2003 certified.
The partnership creates an added element of complete customization and the ability to modify standard products that they could not previously do before.
