Saelig Company, Inc. announces the availability of the VDS3104 four-channel 100 MHz PC oscilloscope adapter from Owon with a 1 GSa/s real-time sample rate and large 10MSa record length for zooming in on glitches. Connected to a PC's USB port for power and communication, this oscilloscope offers the performance of a benchtop four-channel scope, but is compact and lightweight, making it ideal for field use.

Supplied with a very user-friendly software interface, additional capabilities include FFT spectrum and X-Y display (Lissajous Figures).  Stable multi-trigger options include edge, video, slope, pulse, and alternate settings. The additional rear connector can function as a trigger input, trigger output, or pass/fail output.

Nineteen automatic measurements include:  Vpp, Vavg, Vrms, Freq, Period, Vmax, Vmin, Vtop, Vbase, Overshoot, Preshoot, Rise Time, Fall Time, Delay A→B , Delay  A→B , +Width, -Width, +Duty and  -Duty. Waveform math capabilities include +, -,  ×,  ÷, invert and FFT.

USB bus-powered VDS oscilloscopes need no external source of power. With an ultra-thin, compact body design (7" x 4.7" x 0.7"; 0.7 lb) this scope is very portable and ideal for field repair work as well as design and debug, circuit function test, education and training.

Saelig includes a LAN-enabled remote control option at no charge.  It is also supplied with two passive 1/10:1 probes, software CD, USB cable, soft case and a Quickstart Guide.
