April 15, 2013. Pickering Interfaces is expanding its range of low cost PXI multiplexers with the introduction of the 40-635, a single-slot 3U PXI module providing a range of cost-effective multiplexer (MUX) configurations for general purpose test applications.
The 40-635 is available in large range of different configurations to meet many different applications. Configurations vary from a single 64:1 MUX to an octal 8:1 MUX for single-pole configurations, a single 32:1 and dual 16:1 two-pole MUX, a single 16:1 and dual 8:1 MUX with four poles, and an 8:1 eight-pole MUX.
Lower density versions are also available to suit applications requiring smaller configurations with module specific low cost cable options for added cost savings.
All configurations are rated up to 2A and up to 300 VDC/250 VAC with a peak power rating of 60 W to 220 VDC.
The 40-635 uses a 78-way D type connector for which Pickering Interfaces offers a full range of cost effective mating accessories to suit the module. Pricing ranges from $670 to $960.
