The TEMPpoint temperature measurement instrument is now available in an Ethernet (LXI) version to support remote monitoring and control of thermocouples, RTDs, and voltages. Receiving full Class C compliance and certification for LXI to ensure compatibility with other LXI devices, the TEMPpoint offers 48 separate channels with 24-bit resolution and 1 kV of channel-to-channel isolation, each with it's own ADC and CJC circuit. Other features include anytime auto-calibration, automatic linearization of B, E, J, K, N, R, S, and T thermocouples, continuous throughput across all channels at rates up to 10 Hz per channel, direct RTD connection, plus eight opto-isolated digital input lines for monitoring and eight opto-isolated digital output lines for driving relays. With four versions available in June, single-unit prices range from $7,495 to $8,495. DATA TRANSLATION INC., Marlboro, MA. (800) 525-8528.
