Said to be attractively priced, the general-purpose SMBV100A vector signal generator provides a typical output level of +24 dBm up to 6 GHz and a maximum RF bandwidth of 528 MHz. Digital standards such as WiMax, 3GPP FDD, HSPA, and LTE are configurable directly on the instrument via an intuitive user interface. An integrated modulation generator delivers the baseband signals, eliminating the need for a PC. The generator features a frequency range from 9 kHz to 6 GHz and an RF bandwidth up to 120 MHz with internal baseband. Using an external I/Q source, RF bandwidth extends to 528 MHz. Frequency- and level-setting times are less than 1 ms in List mode. Additionally, the SMBV-K6 option allows users generate complex pulse scenarios. For price, call ROHDE & SCHWARZ INC., Columbia, MD.
