Bolstering the DPO7000 digital phosphor oscilloscope (DPO) and DSA70000B digital serial analyzer (DSA) series, the DPO70000B and DSA70000B assume similar position as their predecessors as offering the highest available bandwidth for real-time oscilloscopes and with an industry-best jitter noise floor. The B models also provide what the company claims as the industry’s best vertical noise performance, flattest frequency response, greatest effective number of bits, and the fastest available hardware-based pattern triggering for advanced serial-bus speeds up to 5 Gb/s. Also, additional upgrade options via the SpeedBooster upgrade program enable B-series users to upgrade bandwidth from 4 GHz to 6 GHz, 8 GHz, 12.5 GHz, 16 GHz, and, ultimately, 20 GHz. Providing support on all channels simultaneously for high bandwidth, deep memory, plus fast sample and waveform-capture rates, the B models can debug signals running at speeds up to 12 Gb/s on each of four lanes. Prices start at $53,300 for the DPO70404B (4 GHz). TEKTRONIX INC., Beaverton, OR. (800) 426-2200.
