The B models also provide what the company claims as the industry’s best vertical noise performance, flattest frequency response, greatest effective number of bits, and the fastest available hardware-based pattern triggering for advanced serial-bus speeds up to 5 Gb/s. Also, additional upgrade options via the SpeedBooster upgrade program enable B-series users to upgrade bandwidth from 4 GHz to 6 GHz, 8 GHz, 12.5 GHz, 16 GHz, and, ultimately, 20 GHz. Providing support on all channels simultaneously for high bandwidth, deep memory, plus fast sample and waveform-capture rates, the B models can debug signals running at speeds up to 12 Gb/s on each of four lanes.
