The 1830A RF power meter targets those applications where the lowest uncertainty measurement is critical, such as metrology, research, and production testing of RF equipment. The instrument directly reads calibrated RF power with 100- and 200-Ohm thermistor-style RF power sensors from manufacturers including Agilent, Weinschel, Hughes, General Microwave, EIP, and Milltech. It includes four-digit calibration factor resolution stored in multiple tables on a per sensor basis, 3 dB to 60 dB attenuator support, LXI-C and USB 2.0 compliant communication interfaces for remote programming, and heater control for ovenized sensors. Accuracy is ±0.05% of reading, ±0.5 µW and the thermistor balanced value is adjustable from 50 to 300 Ohms. Price for the 1830A is $6,495. TEGAM INC., Geneva, OH. (440) 466-6100.
