Supporting tasks requiring wide-bandwidth frequencies to test filters, RF systems, or to calibrate same by applying defined low-power signals, the NC1127A and NC1128A noise modules generate a noise source instantly to deliver a complete band signal, flat over the full frequency range. According to the company, this feature allows measurement of the complete frequency response with minimal downtime. With their white Gaussian frequency distribution, the modules are also employable as random-jitter sources. Both modules operate over a temperature range of -35°C to +100°C. The NC1127A provides a frequency range from 10 MHz to 5 GHz and delivers an output power of -20 dBm at -117 dBm/Hz with a typical flatness of ±2.5 dB. The NC1128A provides a bandwidth of 10 MHz to 10 GHz and an output power of -17 dBm at -117 dBm/Hz with a flatness of ±2.5 dB. WIRELESS TELECOM GROUP INC., Parsippany, NJ. (973) 386-9696.
