One-Box Tester Tackles Bluetooth And Other Wireless Apps

The N4010A wireless connectivity test set is a "one-box" platform for testing Bluetooth and other emerging wireless connectivity technologies. The set includes an option (Option 101) that speeds measurements and improves accuracy for high-volume manufacturing that integrates Bluetooth technology. This option makes transmitter and receiver measurements as defined in the Bluetooth 1.1 RF specification. Built-in capability accomplishes eight of the 16 Bluetooth test cases. The test set includes an internal test sequencer to shorten test and development time. By Adding I/O connectivity (Option 110), the test set will also work with the company's 89601A vector signal analysis software and 89607A WLAN test suite software. The software provides a range of signal measurements for evaluating wireless formats such, as wireless LAN (WLAN) in the 2.4 GHz ISM band.
