Expanding the LIGHTNINGCURE family of spot light sources, the LC3 and LC4 are described as being smaller and more economical than their siblings. The LC4 is a UV spot light source that delivers a typical output of 3,500 mW/cm² at 365 nm with a power consumption of 280 VA. Lamp life is specified at 3,000 hours. Measuring 311 mm x 13.7 mm x 226 mm, users can easily fit multiple units on the production floor. With a 120 mm x 120 mm x 200 mm footprint, the LC3 UV-visible spot provides outputs of 500 mW/cm² at 365 nm and 570 mW/cm² at 436 nm with a power consumption of 50 VA. Both sources allow users to set the light output, with the timer setting adjustable from 2s to 60s and the output intensity ranging from 0 to 100%. The LC3 is priced at $2,169 and the LC4 is $3,037 in small quantities. HAMAMATSU CORP., Bridgewater, NJ. (800) 524-0504.
