Addressing the need to make oscilloscope measurements in environmental chambers and other settings with extreme temperature conditions, the N5450A InfiniiMax extreme-temperature extension cable teams up with the InfiniiMax series probing system and Infiniium oscilloscopes. The one-of-a-kind system allows users to probe signals in temperatures ranging from -55°C to 150°C. The extreme-temperature extension cable provides an extra probing distance of 92 cm and two different operational temperature ranges depending on probe-head configurations. When paired with the N5381A differential probe head, it enables the -55°C to 150°C range, as specified for automotive-industry testing. Teamed with an E2677A differential head, E2678A differential socket probe head, or N5425A/26A ZIF tip, it supports a temperature range from -25°C to 80°C. Price for the extreme-temperature extension cable is $1,400. AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES INC., Santa Clara, CA. (877) 424-4536.
