Introduced as the industry’s fastest PXI embedded controller, the PXI-8108 employs a 2.53-GHz Core 2 Duo T9400 processor and 800 MHz-DDR2 memory to deliver a 25% performance improvement over its dual-core predecessor, the NI PXI-8106. The controller operates with LabVIEW 8.6 software plus LabVIEW Real-Time and LabWindows/CVI real-time modules to deliver deterministic and real-time measurement and control. For maximum performance and reliability, the NI PXI-8108 controller is upgradeable to include a 32 GB PXI solid-state hard drive instead of its standard magnetic disk drive. Paired with the solid-state hard drive extends operating temperature range to 0?C to 55?C. Price starts at $4,999. NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS, Austin, TX. (800) 258-7022.
