Signal Analyzer Juggles Price And Performance

Jan. 4, 2011
Delivering double the acquisition bandwidth of any comparably-priced signal analyzer, the RSA5000 Series instruments raise the price-performance bar for mid-range signal analyzers by combining reduced time-to-insight and lower cost.

Delivering double the acquisition bandwidth of any comparably-priced signal analyzer, the RSA5000 Series instruments raise the price-performance bar for mid-range signal analyzers by combining reduced time-to-insight and lower cost. With up to 85 MHz bandwidth, they feature advanced time, amplitude, and DPX trigger functions combined with swept DPX, to detect and capture rapidly changing signals. This bandwidth now covers the entire ISM band. Other features include the ability to detect spectral transients as brief as 5.8 µs and capture a seamless time record of RF frequencies into deep memory for up to 7 seconds at 85 MHz. Pricing for the RSA5000 Series starts at $34,900. TEKTRONIX INC., Beaverton, OR. (800) 426-2200.
