The Infiniium 90000 X-Series of mixed-signal oscilloscopes (MSOs) feature tightly integrated digital channels that sets new high water marks in performance, says Agilent. Its eight-channel MSOs function at 20 Gsamples/s—60% faster than other high-performance MSOs, according to the company. With 16 channels, the MSOs reach 10 Gsamples/s. This latest development adds six new MSO models, as well as 13GHz DSO and DSA models, to the X-Series. The company now offers MSOs ranging from 70MHz to 33GHz of analogue bandwidth. With the Infiniium 90000 X-Series, current and future customers who purchase DSO or DSA model oscilloscopes can upgrade to MSO functionality (most of today’s high-speed MSOs come with fixed configurations that cannot be upgraded). Agilent’s N2834A upgrades let users add MSO capability at any time. Bandwidth and memory upgrades are available, too.
