Probing is one of the more overlooked areas when it comes to measurement but is equally as important as bandwidth. If the signal going into your oscilloscope is distorted by the probe, then it doesn’t matter how much bandwidth your oscilloscope has or how good it is — you’re going to end up with incorrect measurements.
