Based on the UF2 series PCI-X carrier card, three Ultrafast UF2-3130 digitizer cards employ multiple 12-bit a/d converters with a sampling rate of 25 Msamples/s. They are available in 2-, 4-, or 8-channel configurations, each with 64 MB of memory, expandable to 4 GB. Each input has its own a/d converter and amplifier to ensure true simultaneous recording on all channels and allow users to program input-voltage ranges and offsets to best match each sensor. The cards come with drivers for Windows and Linux with free downloads of future driver versions, such as Windows Vista. Drivers for MATLAB, LabVIEW, VEE, DASYLab, and LabWindows/CVI are optionally available. Prices for the 2-, 4-, and 8-channel cards are $4,690, $6,190, and $10,390 each, respectively.
