Snapping directly into Simcheck II or IIse memory testers, Sync DIMMCHECK 168 adapter permits the testers to test 168-pin SDRAM and standard EDO/FPM/ECC DRAM DIMM modules. Employing a proprietary, 125-MHz test engine, the adapter is said to have enough horsepower to test 100-MHz SDRAMs at actual clock speeds. The adapter is designed to quickly test module functionality, size, speed and type and to give detailed structure information. It then proceeds with SDRAM mode tests and page burst and bank interleave tests, with the adapter providing full support for SPD (serial presence detect) data, including reading, editing and programming.
