An ultra-high-speed, high-resolution camera system, the Fastcam IS-1M delivers a 312 x 260 pixel resolution and captures at speeds up to 1,000,000 fps.  It captures a wide range of high speed events, even in low light conditions, and, when using two or more cameras, the 10-bit monochrome camera system allows synchronous recording. Recommended applications include inkjet printing/droplet measurements and other fluid dynamics, hypervelocity impact observation and testing, materials failure, electric discharge, combustion evaluation, product fault-finding, and sports science.
