The EM-2135A EMI receiver/analyzer incorporates YIG-tracked preselection in the RF front end for enhanced dynamic range and for suppression of spurious responses. The front end can be remotely controlled outside the receiver to reduce input cable losses and permit test flexibility. The unit performs emission and susceptibility tests to MIL-STD-461/462, FCC Part 18, and other standards from 0.5 to 18 GHz (40 GHz optional). The complete tuner section is mounted in a removable module that can be disconnected from the mainframe and then set up for remote operation at distances up to 50 feet. Price is $64,900 each.
