Designed to help comply with new CISPR 22 standards that require all telecomm ports on IT equipment be tested for RF emissions in the frequency range of 150 kHz to 30 MHz, the ISN System 22 measures the emissions coming out of the device and stabilizes the impedance at 50 ohms. ISNs are used for either single or dual, unscreened, symmetric wire pairs.
The company's ISNs are supplied as a kit comprised of a base unit, an impedance adapter for one type of connector/connection standard, and three output adapters. Special connection standards can also be ordered. Additionally, because it can couple RF signals in or out of the connected port, the ISN System 22 can also be used to perform conductive immunity testing. Pricing starts at $1,600.
