Based on silicon-germanium (SiGe) technology, two PCI digitizer cards provide 1-GHz bandwidth as well as channel multiplexing capabilities. Each channel in the dual-channel DP240 model has independent front-end electronics (gain and offset control) with 1-GHz bandwidth, synchronously clocked 1-Gsample/s analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), and up to 8 Mpoints of acquisition memory. Switching to single-channel mode doubles the unit's sampling rate (to 2 Gsamples/s) and storage capability (up to 16 Mpoints). The DP235 digitizer card has dual-channel sampling rates up to 500 Msamples/s, a 500-MHz bandwidth, and 128 kpoints of acquisition memory. In single-channel mode, the unit samples at 1 Gsample/s. Optionally, it can be ordered with 2 Mpoints of acquisition memory. The DP235 and DP240 cost $6490 and $9490 each, respectively.
