Three new state and timing analysis modules for the companyÕs 16700 family of logic analyzers are said to cut user costs, provide quality performance and expand debugging capabilities. The 16740A, 16741A and 16742A modules feature memory depths of 1M, 4M and 16 M, respectively. In addition, each module sports 68 channels, as well as new system software. Other features include: Quick waveform draw, pan, zoom and complex searching; simultaneous 200 MHz state acquisition and 2 GHz timing analysis; Visitrigger, which makes it easier to set up complex triggers for maximum insight when troubleshooting; transitional timing, which allows users to capture a much larger amount of timing information by storing only transitions; and eye finder, which automatically adjusts setup and hold on all channels. Pricing for the modules are: 16740A, $14,000; 16741A, $18,000; and 16742A, $25,000. AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES INC., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 452-4844, ext. 7587.
