A number of the company's instruments have been selected by HDMI Licensing, LLC as recommended test components in the HDMI Compliance Test Specification (CTS) version 1.3a for certifying standard compliance. The HDMI 1.3 standard is considered the most significant upgrade yet in the specification, a bottom-line standard interface for high-definition products. Targeted instruments include the DPO70804 real-time oscilloscope with the latest version of TDSHT3 HDMI-compliance test software, CSA8200B sampling oscilloscope for time domain reflectometry with 80E03 and an 80E04 module, DTG5334 data timing generator with DTGM30 modules, and the P7313SMA differential SMA probes. Sink testing will also include a choice of the AWG7102 arbitrary waveform signal generator, AFG3102 arbitrary function generator with DTGM32 module, or the AWG710B generator with a DTGM32 module.
