EMBEDDED SYSTEMS CONFERENCE, San Jose, CA. - Tooled for embedded-system design, the MSO4000 mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO) family teams three crucial capabilities: a real-time oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and the Wave Inspector waveform search engine. Compact and portable, the scopes provide a familiar front-panel, allowing users to control the instrument intuitively. Four models offer bandwidths from 350 MHz to 1 GHz with two or four analog channels and 16 digital channels to provide up to 20 time-correlated channels. The 350-MHz MSO4032 and MSO4034 provide two and four analog channels, respectively, and the 500-MHz MSO4054 has four analog channels. The MSO4104 with a 1-GHz bandwidth on four analog channels delivers 5 Gsamples/s on all channels, while the other models provide 2.5 Gsamples/s. Each scope comes with a 10M record length on all analog and digital channels. Prices range from $8,700 to$17,200. TEKTRONIX INC., Beaverton, OR. (800) 426-2200.
