The Green 416B logs on as the only tester on the market addressing the special needs of solid-state drives (SSDs). It features a thermal upgrade that reduces both power consumption and HVAC resources. According to the company, the 416B is five times faster than its previous model, partly due to the use of Intel Core 2 duo processors and PCIe interfaces. Operation requires no programming expertise due to a library of SSD test scripts that come standard with the system. Other features include 416 test ports and SAS/SATA 6G interfaces with an option for USB. FLEXSTAR TECHNOLOGY INC., Fremont, CA. (510) 440-0170.
