Unit Provides Three-In-One Moisture Control

Nov. 18, 2010
For protecting sensitive components, the TA340-R combines a breather valve, desiccators, and humidity indicator inside a single aluminum housing.

For protecting sensitive components, the TA340-R combines a breather valve, desiccators, and humidity indicator inside a single aluminum housing. Described as a controlled breathing system, the unit relies on only one mounting hole, reducing potential leak paths. The desiccant cartridge is mounted on the back end of the valve. When it breathes air in, the air goes directly over the desiccant bed to efficiently capture moisture on entry.  For ease of desiccant replacement, the system is also designed to accept an externally accessible replacement desiccant cartridge.
