Designed for JTAG and background debug mode (BDM) debugging, the usbDemon USB device features an application programming interface that is fully compatible with industry-standard software debuggers, including the GNU tools suite (GCC, GAS, and GDB).

Designed for JTAG and background debug mode (BDM) debugging, the usbDemon USB device features an application programming interface that is fully compatible with industry-standard software debuggers, including the GNU tools suite (GCC, GAS, and GDB). Based on the company's proprietary OCD technology, the device operates as a JTAG command converter. It communicates with the host PC via the USB protocol and provides the proper OCD signals required by the target. The host port can be JTAG, E-JTAG, OnCE, COP, BDM, or one of several other connection types. Other features include a dedicated JTAG controller.
