The PCM1737 is a 24-bit, 192-kHz, sampling delta-sigma digital-to-analog converter (DAC) designed for consumer audio applications. Its "Enhanced Multi-Level Delta-Sigma" modulator improves audio dynamic performance while reducing jitter sensitivity. Also, its special functions include digital attenuation, mute, and zero flag for each channel. It accepts 16- to 24-bit input data, and it can be used with a variety of audio clocks.
The device can process up to 24 bits internally, and it has single-ended analog outputs. This reduces the amount of external components required in the audio system. It operates on dual power supplies: +3 V digital and +5 V analog. And, it's packaged in a small, 28-lead SSOP. Pricing starts at $4.15 each in 1000-piece quantities. Delivery is from stock.
