Chandler, AZ: Microchip unveiled what it claims is the highest-resolution analogue-todigital converter packaged in a 6-pin SOT-23. The low-power, 18-bit, delta-sigma MCP3421 ADC features an integrated voltage reference, oscillator, and programmable gain amplifier, reducing the need for external components and enabling a smaller overall design.
