Actel is to publish eZone, its own virtual magazine, quarterly and online, to give customers in-depth information and updates on Actel’s new products, technologies and partnerships. It will also include links to whitepapers, application notes and Actel’s various design resource centres with useful information on design security, live at power-up, packaging and soft/firm errors.

Also, eZone provides access to Actel’s Product Update System, which allows subscribers to receive customised product information updates via the web and email.

The inaugural issue of eZone has information on Actel’s new ProASIC3 family of FPGAs, as well as Actel’s partnership with ARM and involvement with the Airbus A380 commercial airliner. The recently announced Actel Fusion technology, designed to enable the industry’s first programmable system chip by integrating mixed-signal analogue capabilities with flash memory and FPGA fabrics, will be featured in upcoming issues of the magazine.
