International Rectifier PowIR ladies raised £10,000 for Cancer Research UK.

International Rectifier (IR) PowIR ladies raised £10,000 for Cancer Research UK. A total of 50 ladies from the company's Reigate, Newport and Swansea sites took part in the Race for Life events. The ladies raised £5000, which IR matched to bring the overall sum to £10,000. Pictured are the PowIR ladies team from IR's European Regional Centre in Reigate.

Editor's Note: "Well done those IR ladies. But here's a challenge. I have it from a very reliable source that the IR men have not proved so energetic. Surely it's now their turn next to pick up the baton and run for charity?"—PW
