The aspect of security has existed ever since the first humans had something precious to them that they wanted to protect. The growth of functionality, complexity, and access to advanced intelligent systems makes cybersecurity vital to our societal infrastructure.
Cyberthreats and the organizations that perpetrate them are constantly evolving, and relying on reactive detection as a primary safeguard is no longer enough. Proactive threat protection uncovers hidden adversary behaviors and strengthens cyber resilience across the entire environment.
The cybersecurity community faces increasing pressure to address challenges that include underestimating the potential losses from ransomware, data breaches, and system downtime. Security implementation faces mounting pressure to reduce risk and optimize limited resources, while compliance requirements are increasing in complexity.
In this podcast, we talk with Christophe Nicolas, Senior Vice President GTM at Kudelski Labs, about the current cybersecurity environment and its challenges.
An Army veteran, Alix Paultre was a signals intelligence soldier on the East/West German border in the early ‘80s, and eventually wound up helping launch and run a publication on consumer electronics for the US military stationed in Europe. Alix first began in this industry in 1998 at Electronic Products magazine, and since then has worked for a variety of publications in the embedded electronic engineering space. Alix currently lives in Wiesbaden, Germany.
