In addition to providing EMI filtering and transient protection, the 28V-in M-FIAM9 military filter input attenuator module enables designers using the Maxi, Mini, and Micro Series 24V and Maxi Series 28V dc/dc converters to meet conducted emission and susceptibility requirements as per MIL-STD-461E and input transients per MIL-STD-704A/E/F and MIL-STD-1275A/B/D. The module accepts an input voltage range from 10 to 36 Vdc and delivers an output power up to 500W. It comes in a standard half-brick module measuring 57.9 mm x 55.9 mm x 12.7 mm and, depending on the model, is mountable onboard or inboard for height-critical applications. Additionally, the M-FIAM is available in two environmental grades with four pin options and three baseplate options. Price starts at $108 each in OEM quantities. VICOR CORP., Andover, MA.
